Everyone’s been there before. Staring at a blank page not knowing what to write. Fighting with your brain to come up with ideas. Blocked seeks to capture the feelings of frustration and exasperation that arise when starting new projects. 

 

Kira is new to both the mediums of film and stop animation and using these mediums allowed her to experiment whilst “injecting a bit of humour into a situation that can feel exhausting”.

 

She hopes that this piece makes viewers laugh and serves as a reminder that mental blocks are a normal part of any (creative) endeavour. It’s not too late… you can push through it!
